iOS 9 crashing apps

I cannot play the majority of the games on my iPad mini since downloading iOS 9 that ran perfectly on iOS 8. Also my game centre takes several minutes to log in which only exacerbates the problem. My iPad is constantly crashing and unable to connect to these games. For an iOS which has had a long beta period I am really ****** off at the problems that are still prominent when they should have been picked up and fixed before release. When will an update be released to correct this as it is clearly a software problem with iOS 9?

I have had no problems at all on my iPad Air 2 and my iPhone 5S. What troubleshooting steps have you taken in order to try to resolve your problems? Anything at all? I'm guessing, no, or you would have listed the things that you tried and didn't work for you.

SStart with very basic steps. Close all apps first.

Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see previews of all recent apps, Swipe to get to every app that you want to close. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.

Next Force restart the device. To force restart your device, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home button for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

If that didn't help, Reset all settings. You will not lose any data, but most of the device settings will have to be entered in the settings app again. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.

If all of that fails, restore the iOS software. Backup your iPad before you restore, then restore the backup when you are done. If that still doesn't help, restore your iPad as new and start all over again. Most purchased content can be downloaded again at no charge as long as you use the same Apple ID and as long as the content is still available in the store.

Wow how condicending do you want to be? I have actually carried out all of the steps that you have so "helpfully" suggested. I have been using apple products since the iPhone 3 and am more than capable of going through the basic steps of resetting and restoring devices including the back up and restoration of purchased items. I did not mention the steps I have taken as they are that basic, this is also why said that it is clearly a software problem, most likely iOS 9 but also likely with the apps themselves and that they haven't been updated for iOS 9 yet, although that would not account for the game centre issues and the problems that is causing.

I have a first gen iPad mini 16GB wifi only. I've restored it twice. And it's still a crash happy mess. Safari seems pretty stable but Apple News, News360, Drippler, and Amazon App are effectively useless. They usually crash after a couple of minutes. Apple News has been rendered unlaunchable twice And required a reinstall. Most other apps crash after extended use... within an hour or so. Something's not right here. My iPhone 5 works just fine on iOS 9.1 as did this iPad on iOS 8! I'd become an iBook addict and Apple has cut me off, man. I've actually dusted off my MacBook Air. Reading an ebook on a MacBook is ridiculous. Just sayin'. I'm overdue for some hardware upgrades but how am I going to regift this pile of slated crap when the time comes?!
