    Hey there richdfromtheblock,

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like your concerned about the available storage space on your iPhone after upgrading to iOS 9. Try taking a look at the article linked below, which will help you identify the apps that are using most of the device's storage and free up space on the device.

See how much storage you've used on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

    Cheers.

NO, that's not even what the original post says. I have the same apps installed on my phone as I did with ios8, but they took up less space on ios8. I looked at the storage usage right before upgrading and then right after and the amount they took up after the ios9 upgrade was significantly more.

Your link basically tells me how to find and delete large apps, which I don't need.

I Don't want to have to delete apps just because I upgraded to a new operating system. I have the same apps now as before and I'm not going to delete apps I need simply bc I upgraded.

Did any one of the particular apps get significantly larger? How big is "Other" on your phone now?
