Try force restarting both devices:
- Force restart iPhone: press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home button for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
- Force restart Apple Watch: press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for around 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Sep 20, 2015 8:24 AM in response to dadybo24by Jonathan UK,Reset the network settings on your iPhone (you will need to re-establish your Wi-Fi connection again afterwards, so have your password ready):
- Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Then restart both your iPhone and Apple Watch:
- To restart your watch: Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; Drag the slider to turn off completely; Afterwards, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
