Q: capacity 119.69 gb used 119.69 how can this be and how can i free up all and reinstall

hi people i was in the middle of secure erase on my macbook and power cut  now when i try to continue its saying free space with error could not create temp file

all i want to do is reinstall my OS

and repair the startup disk?
