Can I use Audible/Kindle immersion reading on Macbook Pro?

With my Kindle, I am able to read a book and have narration at the same time thru immersion reading. This means that the Kindlebook is highlights words as they are read by the audio book and the pages automatically turn in sequence with the narration. Am I able to create that between the audiobook which is played by itunes and the ebook in the kindle app?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

you should be able to. go to accessibiility, under general settings, then speak selection., turn on Highlight works if you want to have them highlighted as they are read aloud to you

Kindle reader app is free in the Mac App store:

If it does not include immersion reading, then as johnb says, you can get Speech to read the text to you. Help should also be available in the Kindle.app.
