Q: Switch between Intel Iris graphics and Nvidia graphics on MacBook Pro 11,3

I have a MacBook Pro retina 2014 with an Intel Iris Pro and nVidia GTX 750M 2048 MB. I've read that on older versions of MacBooks, people have been able to switch between the two chips. Does anyone have any experience with this? Anything I can do?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

For info:

If you want to use the higher-performance discrete graphics processor at all times, choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Energy Saver. Then deselect the automatic graphics switching checkbox.
