Q: emails from Apple

i received an email purporting to be from Apple and looking for me to 'verify' details. I don't know which details are required as I didn't open the email. The email looks genuine but the email address is "messagerie@inbox.com". I can't find out if this is a legitimate address. Any ideas?

It isn't from Apple. There are a lot of phishing scams going on where they try to get you to enter your Apple ID and password. More information at Identifying fraudulent "phishing" email - Apple Support
