Q: Share Selected Photo Not Stream

I would like to share a single photo or selected photos and not the whole stream from the photo app on my mac. I select the photo(s), but then when I selected the share button is selects every photo in that stream, but I do not want that.

I think I should have more specific when I said "sharing." I want to email only certain photos from a stream to friends not share them via icloud.

You are still not clear - you can not have MyPhotoStream and not have it

emailing photos has nothing to do with MyPhotoStream or iCloud - select the Photo(s) and click on the share icon and email them

Save the photo from the stream to your library and email it via the Share button. It has to be saved to the library first.
