rechargeable battery question - will keyboard and mousepad work with regular AA batteries?

Have been using rechargeable batteries in keyboard and mousepad. Would regular AA batteries work just as well?

iMac, iOS 9

Yes they will. Regular batteries tend to keep going longer ... but, you always need to have stock. Eneloop, Energiser, Duracell are best and you should buy from a reputable store. Not saying you would, but never buy from markets or really low end discount stores. You may end up with ill fitting batteries and connection problems.
