Q: Upgraded to iOS9 on both iPad 2 and iPhone6. Cannot access Pages or Numbers files. The titles are on iCloud but cannot retrieve them in either app. Only backed up to iCloud. How do I get to the documents/spreadsheets?

I had the same problem on my iPad 2.  Went to Settings, iCloud and turned on iCloud Drive.  When I went back to Numbers it took a few minutes but asked if I wanted to use iCloud Drive.  I said OK & it downloaded all of my files.

Wish I looked this up before I had gave myself a headache trying to figure out what to do after I opened my iCloud Drive. It never offered the option to download my files from my iCloud Drive before since it did it automatically. Only reason I figured it out was because I accidentally hit the + button in the Pages app. Before, it would only lead me to the page that let me select which document type I wanted to open.
