itunes won't recognize my iphone 6 using Windows 10

I have rebooted, I have tried every USB plug, I rebooted my iPhone, I updated the software on my iPhone, I ran the updates on Windows 10, I ran the updates for the Mcafee virus scan software and I ran the updates for iTunes. Update, update, update, I would love a week to go buy when I don't have updating and rebooting on the computer. What now?

If I reinstall iTunes, will I lose all my iTunes music?

I'm having the same problem...tried all of the steps listed above and three different Lightning cables. I had to replace my phone last week (broken screen), and even the "restore from iCloud backup" didn't work properly after the swap. Like the OP, I just want to be able to transfer files from my computer to my phone, and getting a little frustrated.
