My Ipad 2 cannot restore or upgrade for ios9. Message : The ipad software update server could not be contacted. unknow error occurred (1671) now my ipad only show connect with itunes! freeze!!! Pls HELP

Is there any solution to this problem as i am facing the exact same issue?

I am having the same problem too. I tried to update my iPad2 to iOS 9.2 on the weekend. It appeared to work and then just hung. I ended up getting the image of the iPad charger with an arrow towards the iTunes logo. I have tried numerous times to update and even restore my iPad in iTunes, but my iPad cannot be detected by iTunes.

The iPad is totally broken. In turns I get the apple symbol or the charger and iTunes logo. Nothing else. The iOS 9.2 update has corrupted my iPad!

UPDATE: Found a post that helped me fix my iPad. I have now restored to factory settings. I've lost all my data, but at least I have an iPad that seems to be working so far. See this post: Re: iOS8 update failed on my iPad2, now stuck in recovery mode

I have the same issue, except my error code is 1667.
