Q: How to sync iCal with iPhone WITHOUT iCloud?
Hi All,
Let's give this an other try. I'm trying to resolve this for months now, with no success.
I'm trying to sync my calendar entries between my iPhone (6, now running iOS 9) and my MacBook Pro (10.9.5) using iTunes, simply with a USB cable. Calendar entries are not transferred in any of the directions.
Does anyone have an idea what's wrong here? It used to work perfectly for many years, and sometimes earlier this year it simply stopped working.
Before any iCloud based solution would pop up: I do not intend to use iCloud. I do not want to store my calendar entries in the cloud, I do not store my photos their either. I do not store my life in the cloud. I understand it's trendy and maybe easy for many people but I just want two expensive Apple product to be able to get synchronised when they are directly connected and otherwise perfectly communicating through iTunes.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Ps. Sorry, I have no idea how this "HT20...." something came into the header. I was trying to find a solution on apple.com and started to create a post under that article.
