Help! IoS 9 - Slide to Upgrade won't work and find my iphone is switched on.

How do I restore my ipad. After installing IOS9 ,my ipad is stuck on "Slide to Upgrade". I try to restore but I can't as "Find my iphone" is switched on,but how do I switch it off if I can't get into my iphone.

Hi - thanks. I tried that but can't do the restore as I need to switch my find my iphone off but I can't as I can't use the device. Any ideas please...

As far as I know, the DFU mode (instructions below) lets restore without disabling Find My iPhone.

Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
Turn off the device.
Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Press the Home button while holding the Power button and hold both for 10 seconds.
Release the Power button, but KEEP HOLDING the Home button.
After about 15 seconds, iTunes will tell you it has detected a device in Recovery Mode.
Restore your device
