Convert NI Kontakt Files to EXS?

I am working with a guy who wants to make the sample package he sells native to GarageBand. I told him that his Kontakt files need to be converted to EXS, but had no idea how he could accomplish this. Is there a converter? I hope he does not have to start from scratch, that may kill the project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

CDXtract is a great product and has a great demo. But for some reason, it will not read NKI files (though the Web site says that it will). I have contacted the makers last week, but no answer.

CDXtract and Chicken Systems Translator can only convert unprotected NKI files. Products that ship with a Kontakt, Kompakt, or Intakt player cannot be converted to another format.

I see. So the original file would not be protected? So the file that I have would be different from the one that is held by the author? OK, that makes sense. I guess what I have is encrypted by the Native Instruments format.
