Q: Any news on ios 9.0.1?

I'm experiencing the "Slide to upgrade" frozen screen bug, and seem to be unable to create a backup to fix this, as described in the apple support brief regarding this issue. I am hesitant to completely restore my ipad, because of the data loss that causes.

Is there any news on ios 9.0.1 yet? And when this is released, will it be able to intall through iTunes, right over 9.0? Or is a full ipad restore unavoidable at this moment?

I would also like to ask the same question. When will there be an update for this? The ios 9 is terribly buggy and apps crash most of the time.

Apple has not announced anything concerning an additional update to 9. And likely will not prior to it being released. In addition, there is no guarantee that an upgrade will fix existing issues in and of itself.
