Q: When is a patch to iOS 9.0 being released to fix "Slide to upgrade" issue?

My iPhone 5 was bricked by the iOS9.0 "Slide to Upgrade" issue.

I've followed the official fix steps here: If the Slide to Upgrade screen won't go away after you update to iOS 9 - Apple Support

But, like for many people, that hasn't resolved the issue. I've logged a call with Apple support and was phoned back by a "more senior help analyst". I was told I need to wait for the patch to iOS9.

When will this be out? Even some rough guide would be useful. I've been without a phone for 5 days now.
