Q: iPhone 5c Screen in not sensitive and forced restart is needed

The problem occurs with no apparent reason. Even before updating to ios9 the screen freeze and is not sensitive anymore. The only way to come out of the stuck is a forced reboot. This problem after the ios update has become terribly frequent (even twice a day now) and I don't think it's only ios9 related. Can anyone provide me with some actions to take before a factory reset and/or a travel to the closest apple store? Thanks a lot.

    Hi override_64,

I see you are a new user here in Apple Support Communities - welcome! I hope we find you contributing often in the future.

It sounds as if you are having an issue with using the touchscreen on your iPhone, it becomes insensitive. Is that right?

This article has some steps you can take to resolve the issue - If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch.

It would be great to hear which of these steps resolved the issue. Of course if your issue persists, post again with your results and we will continue to assist.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

    Sincerely.
