Iphone 6 - overheated, pixelated vertical lines showed up on screen, i attempted a soft reboot but it won't turn on or screen is out entirely. help? seems to have started after updating to ios9.

yesterday i noticed that the blue message bubbles in imessage and facebook chat became kind of warped. like, pixelated and a different shade of blue. this morning as i was using snapchat all these vertical lines started to appear on the screen until i couldn't see anything anymore. I did a soft reboot but can't tell if the phone came back on or not. I can't see anything on the screen.

I plugged it into power and it makes the charging sound over and over and over and over. It has been shut off now for at least 30 minutes and is still super hot. Can anyone help me with this?? I think apple should replace my phone. I am not eligible for an upgrade through my carrier until January. But I cannot go without a phone that long.

unfortunately it is not a screen issue. due to the overheating, many components inside the phone fried and it would no longer respond. the battery was not charging anymore due to the heat, and the screen components totally fried. As in, there is nothing i could have done to bring it back up. it was a hardware issue caused by ios9 and verizon replaced my phone for free. thanks for your help though.
