Apr 7, 2016 10:35 AM in response to titanium155by cdavefly,Anyone else still having this problem? My lock screen notifications are very sporadic for my exchange email (Outlook) which is set to push? When my phone is locked, sometimes they come across immediately and other times 20minutes or more and no sound notification? Since I depend on this for our security cameras, this is not a good scenario. Worked flawless until I switched to 6Splus? Nothing more irritating that sitting at my desktop and seeing the notifications pop-up, but the Iphone stays silent and no notification. Cmon Apple!!!!

May 4, 2016 4:42 PM in response to titanium155by guvenck,My biggest problem is the Messenger app.
My Messenger message notifications started to decay with time. I can't recall when it started but first they started to come without sound although every notification setting is set to on in Settings. Then some messages started to drop. And since last week I don't receive any push notifications messages from Messenger. I always have to launch the app manually to see if I have messages.
Facebook notifications where arriving without sounds but I could solve them to go to my Facebook account and enabling all notifications. However Messenger still insists to be a pain.
I receive notifications from other apps like WhatsApp without problems.
I have an iPhone 5C 32GB and IOS 9.3.1.

May 13, 2016 8:17 AM in response to titanium155by Weez ,Email notifications don't work on my brand new iPad Pro 9.3. Notifications are random. Sometimes they push, but mostly they work only when I open the email app manually. I have made about a dozen phone calls to Apple Care, and I have been to Genius at my nearby Apple Store twice. Genius has wiped my iPad twice. No one over the phone or at the store indicates that this is an Apple problem. But neither has the problem been fixed. I am grateful for this thread, or else I would have thought I was crazy. I don't know what to do.

May 16, 2016 5:26 AM in response to Tkosjby Weez ,TKosj, I dont have Facebook, Twitter, or any social media, so it's not Facebook. I have been reading other threads, and this has to be an Apple issue. Someone noted that the little gear keeps spinning in email and in the email inbox, and that it should not continue to spin after first opening. Is your little gear spinning in other apps? Since my last post, the Apple store erased my iPad and reloaded it to new iPad. What a hassle that was! And still no joy.

May 16, 2016 6:27 AM in response to Weezby Tkosj,Well the fact that messenger notifications WORKS with my other account it can't be Apple in my case, right?

May 16, 2016 6:42 AM in response to Tkosjby Weez ,I am no expert. I'm simply a befuddled Apple user, like you. I do know from reading threads that people are experiencing all sorts of notification and/or push issues that seem to have no rhyme or reason. And I have learned the hard way that Genius and AppleCare apparently don't have a clue either because nothing they have done has helped me in the least. I would say to watch the spinning wheels on any apps you're having trouble with. The wheel spinning means that the app is still trying to open. Some people said the wheel in the upper left hand corner won't stop spinning. But in my case it's the wheel in the email inbox that continues to spin—the wheel that shows up when you pull down the inbox with your finger. I also know that Genius did a diagnostic test on my iPad and told me that my email app had crashed. So maybe your messenger app has crashed. I suspect that something in the 9.3.1 uodate is causing some apps to crash.

May 16, 2016 6:46 AM in response to Weezby Weez ,Whoops, I'm sorry, not your messenger app, but some other app(s). Maybe your messenger app is able to by-pass whatever is wrong.

May 16, 2016 7:12 AM in response to Weezby Tkosj,Okay guys i found a solution for my problem! So if anyone here encounters my problem do this.
I simply thought that my facebook had glitched so i logged into another facebook account and then i spammed messages to my real facebook and just spammed and spammed and finally after some time my phone started to vibrate as usual and all the messages popped up. It works fine now after that.

May 17, 2016 12:57 PM in response to blacksabathby fish_boy,We have multiple users experiencing ActiveSync push "issues". The iPhone simply stops monitoring the Exchange email account folders (Inbox, Sent Items, etc...) and new emails are not pushed to the phone.
Apple support explained to me that the workaround is to have users manually check for new messages by unlocking the phone, opening the mail app, and pulling down to refresh the Inbox. This is obviously not a viable solution.
There has been no commitment (from Apple) to release a long-term fix for this issue. We are struggling with next steps at this point. Unless Apple fixes this issue we may need to migrate iPhone users to Android.
*Note: just installed 9.3.2 on a few test phones to see if the issue is resolved. Nothing in the release notes but fingers have been sufficiently crossed...
