phone crash after last upgrade

My phone crashed after the last upgrade and is now useless as all is showing is swipe to upgrade and this is locked. I have tried to reload everything through my Mac however it says I need to turn off phone locator but I can't get into the phone to turn this off. I have no phone and frustrated doesn't really do justice to how I am feeling right now. Any help out there?
