Q: Why can't my phone trust this computer?
When I plugged the USB cable, I was prompted to trust this computer. I choose trust, but I can't find my device on itunes and I can't sync anything. Every time I reconnected the USB cable, I was asked if I wanted to trust this computer. I kept choosing trust but nothing happens. Previously, I had tried authorizing my computer. Why does my phone not trust my computer?

I managed to solve my own problem! First, I clicked the help > run diagnostics on itunes to identify the problem. On this page - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204095?&cid=acs::fm-itunes_HT204095-93716, I go to the section on "If the Apple Mobile Device USB driver is not listed". Follow the instructions & I'm done.
