ios 9 and rotate screen in assistive touch

AFter upgrading to iOS9, rotate screen function in assistive touch won't work. It was really useful because it allows me to watch videos while I'm lyingon my bed. Anyone know why it won't work?

Hello hughjune99,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I see from your post that you're trying to use the Assistive Touch feature to rotate your screen. This feature has not been removed from iOS 9, and can still be found by going to Device > Rotate Screen when using the Assistive Touch menu.

Hello hughjune99,

As I posted the function is still there in the Assistive Touch menu, and it should still function as you tap on rotate right, left, etc. Please make sure the app you're in supports rotation. If you continue to have issues with it, then I suggest getting in contact with our other support staff by using the link below.
