ios 9 animation

Hello,

I would like to report a minor bug. I have problem with animations in iOS 9. It is basically the same what another user has desribed here few days ago:

App opening or going back to Home Screen, there is no more animation like in iOS 7 and 8.

If i hit Home button, the Home Screen appeared like a flash. No more animation of unzooming.

It happen

IPhone 5s,

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4.1, Space Gray (16-GB)

A guy in Apple Store in my city turned off and on the "Reduce motion" in General-> accessibility. Then, after a regular restart of the iPhone the animations were back on, rocking it!! Sadly, few hours later, all of a sudden animations stopped working again. After doing the same as the Apple Store guy I managed to get animations back in bussiness. Few minutes ago, it happened again.

It is not a big deal for me now, since I now know what to do to fix it. It takes cca one to two minutes to repair but is is not pleasant on device like iPhone.

I am writting you to report a problem to catch your eye on for next iOS 9 update. I noticed that in both cases animations stopped working right after double-tapping on homescreen button.

Thanks a lot! I was looking for some Apple Feedback on the internet but I could only find a Developer Feedback so I though this might be the place (boy was I wrong...). I have just sent feedback to Apple.

I actually do prefer this bug. The phone feels snappier without zooming in and out animations and I don't really want this bug to be gone!

Hi Bryden,

I was reffering to bug where this "animation mode" is all of a sudden shutting off even though I want it to be on :-)

It is a good thing to have a choice whether you like to have those animations on or off.

I had the same problem on my iPad Air 2 initially after upgrading to iOS 9, but after powering off and on again it was resolved. The problem has not returned (I'm touching wood).

I confirm the bug on my iPhone 6S with iOS 9.1 !

I managed to fix it by turning off and on my phone but It's so annoying !

PS: I use no heavy app and bug may not be related to lack of memory ( in particular with my 2Gig ram)

i have the same problem , restarting my phone does solve the problem but only for a few hours and its back again!

I have the same bug here. the effect or animation gone, restarting the phone does solve, but do i have to restart my phone everytime this happens? :/ that's annoying.. (Iphone 6s Plus ios 9.1)

i happened to have reset all settings and change the wallpapers from perspective mode to the still mode and I haven't faced the issue again yet. try it, should work !
