my ipod touch 5 is messed up since ios 9 the top swipe down bar covers have the screen and i can not touch the bottom half of screen and because i cant touch that half i cant type in my password and i cant turn off the ipod because the swipe to shut down button is covered please help i have lots of photos and memories on this ipod touch please help me xx----jennifer

If the Slide to Upgrade screen won't go away after you update to iOS 9
If not:
Try the following. Not the if y have to Restore the iPod the iPod will be erased:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
it happened on saturday and the batery still hasnt run out out
Is anything showing on the screen? If not then draining the battery take days and days and usually does not work
