IOS9 PHOTOS IS CROPPING ALL PHOTOS. WHY?????

Exactly the same pb.

This is not acceptable. Ipad was great to show our clients our work.

This behavior is not wanted and totally stupid. At least add a setting. This way each one can decide if it's better for him to display the picture full screen cropping the left & right or repesct aspect ratio and show a black bar on top or bottom !

I'm a DSLR photographer and pictures are 3:2 , not micro 4:3 sensors ...

Is this an aspect ratio issue?

As animotion said, if you double tap to zoom in, then again to zoom out the picture il displayed like it was before. Not crop on the side, black bars on top and bottom (3:2 displayed in 4:3). But this have to be done on each picture...

This is not wanted. I was planning to buy an ipad pro but as long as it'll be working like that i will not, for sure.

Okay, thought I was losing it there... again

In lightroom i always exported my picture with 2048px for the largest size ( which makes 1363 px for the other size)

4:3 AR leads to 2048:1536 , previously displayed like this : 2048 fit to left and right of the screen and black bars to fill the "missing" pixels for the 4:3 AR on top and botton.

Now it's : 1363 fit to match the height of the screen, and crop the L&R.

If you double tap once to zoom in and again to zoom out you find the previous display mod (fit to largest side, black bars) .

So what you're describing is a image display issue and not actual cropping of the image. Report your issue to Apple via Apple Support - iPhone Feedback

Same problem here. Some albums do not sync all photos. Different album content on iPhone and iPad. So not amused.

What is going on with Apple these days. They took my no 1 reason to use an iPad out of it. Unable to show my clients my photos. Really why? Please make this an option as soon as possible Apple.

I agree, this is completely unacceptable and utterly annoying. My company has a comic book series that we are publishing and we use our iPads to showcase our work and it's really annoying to have the tops and bottoms of our pages, which contain words and dialogue not to mention parts of images, cropped out so that we can have the "Full screen" usage.

I really hope Apple gets this fixed, and fixes it soon. Totally ridiculous.

Yep, same here. I'm a photographer and was looking forward to buying an iPad Pro to display my images. I don't know whether Apple consider this a bug or a feature. Either way, they're going to have to fix it for me to consider upgrading.

Just updgraded to iOS 9.1 and the issue is still here 😠

I just spent an hour on the phone with Apple support. This is the way the Photos app works with IOS9, and there is no way to work around it. I suggest everyone lodge a complaint at apple.com/feedback. As far as I'm concerned this makes the iPad completely useless for any serious photographer.
