Q: ipad stuck in a loop after updating to ios9. help!

I resisted temptation to update my iPad Air to IOS8, then finally took the plunge today to go straight to IOS9. Well, I wish i hadn't. Its now stuck in a loop saying slide to update, so I slide, it says you have successfully updated, then back to slide to update...and so on.

Im not updating the other iPad - this is ridiculous.

Any ideas guys...please!!

Find My Phone app being installed on the device prevents Restore from iTunes. Hopefully another iOS9 release is able to be pushed on to the device using iTunes.

Would configurator2 force a Restore or update/roll back to previous version of iOS? Issue being the Swipe to Upgrade won't work after iOS 9 update on some iPads.

    Thanks

The support article (below) won't work if you have Find My iPhone/iPad app installed.

Please If someone find something, let us know.

    I'm really tired of this.

OK so here goes - it's solved!

I Went on to iCloud.com and removed the iPad from the find my iPhone list.

then plugged the ipad into the Mac, started iTunes and the ipad wasn't recognised, so then held the on/off and home buttons (at the same time) on the ipad down for around 10 seconds which then rebooted the iPad which the Mac then recognised. Then I had to do a full system restore of the iPad from the Mac - admittedly it took a few goes and I had to set the iPad up as if new again which a little bit of hassle but once done it was sorted and here I am now tapping away on it!

    Good of luck Troops!
