how do I connect my Cannon Pixma iP 3000 printer to my Mac?
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10)
You can connect it via USB port. What have you tried so far?

Make sure that the printer is connected to the Mac either through USB, Wireless or Ethernet.
When it is connected run software update or update through Mac App Store (If you connected through a network make sure the printer and the mac are connected to the same one.) It should then drag down required drivers and then set up your printer in system preferences.
