Does anyone know if there will be a desktop version of the new iOS News app?
I really like it on iOS and would enjoy using it on my laptop too.
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
We do not know anything about any unreleased or future Apple product.
I was thinking the same thing, would be good to have all the new stories in one place on the desktop
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
I will mention - to those interested - until Apple brings Apple News to it's desktop OS (which I'm sure they're tracking how people use it on iOS first), Flipboard is a great alternative. I use the Flipboard app on my iPad, iPhone, and they have a clean website that works very much like Apple News. Follow content, other users, and media outlets. I've been using Flipboard for a few years and I see Apple News trying to emulate what they've done over at Flipboard already. You can actually use Flipboard yourself to publish, too.
