Can I Install Windows 10 from SDHC Card instead of USB Flash Drive?

Late 2013 15" MacBook Pro Retina (11.2)

Windows 10 32/64 bit file purchased from Microsoft

SDHC 32GB cards formatted FAT-32

The cards can be ejected from Finder (as per Apple's instructions below)

Apple's instructions here imply it's possible

Create an ISO image for Boot Camp from Windows installation media - Apple Support

Connect your flash drive or SD Card, then try to eject it from the Finder. If you don't see an option to eject the drive in the Finder sidebar, this device can’t be used to install Windows.

Yet instructions here only mention USB Flash Driver

When prompted, connect your USB flash drive.

There are no SD drivers on Windows installer. Please use a USB2 flash drive instead.

Thanks for that. It seems Apple's instructions have some ambiguity. They also mention creating an ISO from DVD but I've found that's not possible with a Windows 10 DVD.

Do you get an error when you use the DVD to create an ISO? Please ensure the DVD is not a combined 32-bit/64-bit, because BCA will reject it.

I assume you are using Create an ISO image for Boot Camp from Windows installation media - Apple Support to create the ISO from DVD.
