Q: My Macbook Air screen does not turn on when I turn my laptop on. I hear the sound when it turns on but neither the apple logo on the top of my computer or screen turns on. What should I do?

I bought my Macbook Air back in August 2013. Recently my macbook screen will not realize that I am opening my macbook up. The backlights on the keyboard will light up but my screen stays black along with the apple on the top of my macbook does not light up. I shut the macbook down and turn it back on, but I have to do this a few times before the apple logo comes on the main screen along with the apple logo on the top of my macbook. When I shut my macbook I have to repeat the process of shutting it down and turning it on a few times, if not more than ten. I am worried that one of these days the macbook will take its final time and give out on me. When it does turn back on, it tells me that an error occurred and do I want to start my computer back up to how it was before. What should I do?
