Q: I have error code 1671 what does this mean and how do I take steps to resolve the issue

I have an iPad Air and unable to sync or close it down as i rejects my password as well as I am getting a code of 1671 when trying to download IOS9. How do I reset iPad or have it working correctly again. I have saved the contents of iPad to computer.
