After updating my phone to IOS9, My phone got stuck on the "slide to update" screen. I am not able to press my power button because it's a bit crushed in. So would just waiting for the battery to die be the only way that I can restart my phone and get off of the "slide to update' screen?

This seems to be a widespread issue. Follow these instructions from Apple.

I've already read those instructions. And like I said earlier I cannot press my power button because it doesn't work anymore. I was asking if just letting the battery die would be the only way to restart my phone.
