I followed your troubleshooting instructions But now my iTunes comes up with an error while making a backup. unluckily I haven't made a backup before. I'm on 11.0.1.126 version of iTunes. help me please

Many users seem to be experiencing this issue. Follow these instructions from Apple.
If the Slide to Upgrade screen won't go away after you update to iOS 9 - Apple Support

You do not identify what this error is when attempting to make the backup, and to my knowledge, the only version of iTunes that supports iOS 9 is iTunes 12.3. You need to update your iTunes.
