Want to move note to new folder in Notes
I'm happy that I can now create folders in Notes. But is there a way I can move existing notes into a new folder?
iPhone, iOS 9

Yes.
Thanks so much. This is exactly a feature I was hoping for in Notes.
Nevermind - I upgraded notes and see the button now. I love these "upgrades" that screw everything up and give you a chance to spend an hour or so on stupid things. **
This did not help me - when I swipe left, I only get a Delete button. Am I doing something wrong? I am on 9.0.2.
I have the same problem also. All I see is a "Delete" option. Did you figure a way to make a move work?
Macbook Pro, 15" (Early 2011)
El Capitan 10.11.4
I am on 9.3.1, I'm wondering if you did a swipe far enough to the left. When you first swipe, you see the delete button, but then to the left is the move button.
There is another way to move, but unfortunately I've only done it twice by accident and can't seem to recreate what I did.😊
I'm swiping like mad and I can't find a move button either. I'm on version 10.2 for iPhone 6.
thank you!
You need to have one of your existing folders selected in the the left pane (e.g. "Notes") - not have "All on My Mac" selected.
What I wrote above is incorrect. You cannot move a note if it is one that is displayed in a list as a result of a search. Apple should fix this.
