Q: How do I schedule software updates to occur ONLY during low cost satellite windows

I use exceed satellite internet.  OS X wipes out my monthly data automatically getting updates.  Exceed has a free window from 3 AM to 8 AM.  I'd like to schedule my MacBooks and my iPad to only update during these free windows.  How do I do this?  I have Yosemite 10.10.5

    Very good question.  I too have the same problem with HughesNet and I am using OS El Capitan.  I live in the mountains.  If I had any other choices I would dump them immediately.  Wish Apple would add this as a setting in one of their future updates.
