Cannot install official Google Map App due to my region

Hey Guys,

I have iPhone 5 - iOS 8.1.3.

I am from Pakistan.

I am facing an issue while installing official Google Maps. The official Google Maps app is not shown in Pakistani App store. When I searched for the Google Map app in Google, I found a link to the official Google Maps App. I opened the App store link from Google SERPS but I wasn't allowed to install because the App was in USA store and message appeared that the Google Map App is not available in Pakistan store.

I changed region in apple ID, & in iphone ... and upon installation, app store switches me to Pakistani store and message appears that specified Google maps is not available in Pakistani store.

Is there any solution to install the Official Google Map App?

In order to access the US Appstore simply changing the region in your iPhone is not enough. You will have to change the region given in your Apple ID itself where you enter the payment details. Now, since you will likely not be having a US based credit card you can proceed without entering the credit card information and simply state that your country is the US. You will be able to only download free apps from the US store which include Google Maps.

To go back to being able to purchase and download apps from the Pakistani store you will need to re-enter the credit card info in the Apple ID again and changing your country back to Pakistan.

An alternative is to create a separate Apple ID specifically for accessing the US store. This is what I do. If you need to make purchases from the US appstore and don't have access to a US based credit card, you can buy iTunes gift cards and load these into your US Apple ID to make purchases from the US appstore.
