iOS 9 Transition Effects Disappearing Suddenly - iPhone 6

Hi,

I have installed iOS 9 on my iPhone 6 . After the update I have observed that transition effects disappear all of a sudden when I use my iPhone. I have to restart iPhone for the transition effects to get back. I tried resetting my device and also tried a restore option. I dont see this issue on my iPad. Its only on iPhone 6 .

Anyone came across this issue on iPhone 6 ?

iPhone 6, iOS 9, null

I went to apple store on Monday and demonstrate them the issue and how it gets automatically fix after restart. Before any suggestion from apple support person I told him that I have already tried doing a factory reset, setting my phone as new and doing multiple backups and none have helped me. I also told and shown him the link of our current discussion thread that its not me but others are facing similar issue. He was not aware of any similar issue reported in past and was saying it might be a iOS issue. I told him that I have sent apple the feedback and there is nothing left for me to do now. Lastly, listening to my detailed explanation he offered me a new phone as replacement as mine was just 20 days old. I have set up the new one as a new iphone and gave my old phone to him. He said that he is going to get the phone examined and will send his comments to apple product team. I am still not sure if its an iOS issue or device. Hopefully its an iOS issue which doesn't work in some weird condition and apple make a note of it. That's all my friends. Happy Holidays!!!

Yes, I am facing the same issue for long time now irrespective of whether I upgrade from 9.2 to 9.2.1 . Also after the transition effects are lost and there are many other issues tied up. Lock screen flash, keyboard crashes.
I tried doing a factory reset and also setup the phone as a new device without using backup. It still didn't work out for me.
Reported the issue many times to Apple . Hope Apple fixes this issue asap 😟

actually many communities open these kind of topics. here are some:

https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/3lav2c/anybody_else_experiencing_stutte ring_animations/

https://www.reddit.com/r/ios9/comments/3lrvoy/issuebug_noticeable_fps_drops_on_i os_91_iphone_5s/

and as u can see there are all identical, im confused on why Apple doesn't respond to these issues :3

Akhilraj976, the performance of ip 5s,6, and 6s are more likely dropping the fps of the device, some improvements maybe doesnt meet the compatibility of older devices and focuses on the improvemnts of 6s, but even 6s frame rates are dropping, resulting to stutter screen and flashing lock button. :3

Same exact issue here. I recently bought an iPhone 5s and I experience this sudden transition effects "gone" once every 4 or 5 days. Its like all the screens you want to get in to front comes without any effects. And yes, when you put it to sleep you can notice a little flash before the screen turns off.

My 5s came with 9.0.2, so its not an iPhone that I had to put many updates on it. I experienced ths either in 9.2 and 9.2.1. Didn't have the chance to test it under 9.0.2 since I updated it to 9.2 instantly. Pretty weird it hasn't been fixed yet. But you can be sure its not a '6' issue only.

As I said, it happens like once every 4 or 5 days. And I noticed it tends to start to happen when you turn on/off 'important' settings as turning off/on spotligh search, or certain background app refresh. Maybe its coincidence, dunno.

I feel relieved its not only an issue i have, as my iPhone 5s is new and this was driving me nutts since the beggining.
