Feb 7, 2016 4:15 PM in response to nikkael4everby EmilianoDTH,Same exact issue here. I recently bought an iPhone 5s and I experience this sudden transition effects "gone" once every 4 or 5 days. Its like all the screens you want to get in to front comes without any effects. And yes, when you put it to sleep you can notice a little flash before the screen turns off.
My 5s came with 9.0.2, so its not an iPhone that I had to put many updates on it. I experienced ths either in 9.2 and 9.2.1. Didn't have the chance to test it under 9.0.2 since I updated it to 9.2 instantly. Pretty weird it hasn't been fixed yet. But you can be sure its not a '6' issue only.
As I said, it happens like once every 4 or 5 days. And I noticed it tends to start to happen when you turn on/off 'important' settings as turning off/on spotligh search, or certain background app refresh. Maybe its coincidence, dunno.
I feel relieved its not only an issue i have, as my iPhone 5s is new and this was driving me nutts since the beggining.

Feb 8, 2016 3:18 AM in response to EmilianoDTHby nikkael4ever,well buddy, ur not alone with this. i tooo have the same unit as urs, ip 5s even iphone 6 + and 6s or 6s+ has the same issues like this. some issues where also brought up by a frame drop from the unit's with transparency effect. more likely, those 64-bit devices, and iPHONE 4-4s-5 doesnt have this issues cause theyre built as 32-bit and has no transparency effect and 3D effect.

Feb 8, 2016 6:21 PM in response to nikkael4everby EmilianoDTH,Another thing that all of suddden "goes away" is the battery information. Again, once in a while (maybe 5/6 days, or even less) I go to the battery stats and notice the information of apps usage is not there anymore. All I see is the famous legend "Battery information will be available after using iPhone for a few minutes"... no matter if I have already been using it and actually saw the stats well before. Its like it sudden dissappear.
It ends up fixing on its own either resetting the phone or even charge the phone to full charge and eventually it will be fixed by the next usage. Stand up/usage times are displayed, tho.
Anyways, I switched to an iPhone after years and years of getting tired of Android bugs, but sadly I started to notice that iOS has the same amount of bugs, or maybe more. That's what you get when you idealize something.

Feb 22, 2016 4:57 AM in response to iFanForeverby mangoblaster,I too have started facing this issue after updating my iPhone 6S to 9.2.1. The animations stop working suddenly. When I restart the phone then the problem is solved but after 1-2 hrs again the problem starts. I am also facing the following issues in my phone-
1. The animations and transition effects stop working suddenly
2. The list of songs in Music app goes blank. I just see white screen when I open the app. It reappears when I force quit and restart the Music app.
3. Opening the Health app causes the phone to switch off and it shows the low battery sign even though battery is 49-50%. I have stopped opening the Health app now because of this.
4. Sometimes while messaging the message box above the keyboard acts weird. it will hide or show only partial message. Once I hit send the whole message will get sent.
5. Camera freezes when I open it sometimes. have to force quit it and restart the Camera app for it to start working again.
6. I'm on a 3G network. And suddenly my 3G signal will stop and I just get 2g then. It shows E for edge in the top row.
All these issues start to happen simultaneously. When I restart the phone all will get resolved. And then after 1-2 hrs they will start again.
Its Pathetic to see Apple release an update that causes a 2-3 month old iphone 6s to act like this. There was once a time when each update was thoroughly beta tested before release. But now every update is a leap of faith.

Feb 22, 2016 5:09 AM in response to mangoblasterby EmilianoDTH,THe most annoying bug besides this one is that if you don't give your iphone a screen on time of 25/30 minutes per day, then the battery stastics screw up and you only can see the usage/standby time. No app stastics, seeing the text "battery information will be available after using iPhone for a few minutes".
Based on my experience, once this gets screwed (for using the SOT time of one day so little), the only way to fix it is by performing a hard reset (home+pwr for 10 secs) and the next day after chargning it, and after using it at least 25 minutes of SOT, they will show up again.
I tend to check my battery stats so this issue really annoys me. Since I don't ALWAYS give my iPhone a SOT time of 30 minutes per day, there are days that I use it really little (for ex, I use whatsapp web in the office) so all the running is in the background.
I hope they fix it, I have seen forums and this is a problem since version 8 too.

Feb 29, 2016 12:11 AM in response to EmilianoDTHby GoldenStag,In response to this issue
Is there any advise or reply from Apple themselves? I also experience transition effect issue. I already update my iOS to 9.2.1 (13D20) and yet it still appears. Hi Apple team, any solution?

Mar 4, 2016 12:04 PM in response to GoldenStagby Dorian Grim,Has everyone lost their entire mind?
How can you all complain for your phones being faster?????
I am mad on apple for deliberately slowing phones, only for a stupid transition effect, not because in their little incompetency failed to fix something beneficial to us.

Mar 5, 2016 4:11 PM in response to Dorian Grimby GoldenStag,Hi Dorian Grim
We are just wondering why it was happening after the update? We just want to clarify if that was normal on IOS 9.2.1. Honestly, I am a first time user of an iPhone, my parents have an i Pad. I just did a comparison and for me, missing the transitions effect is not normal. I believe, one of Apple's strength on their products is its smooth interface and transition. I hope you understand and I apologize if I sounded I lost my entire mind

Mar 10, 2016 6:45 AM in response to iFanForeverby rojsl99amg,Problem Solved : i'm an iphone 6 plus 128 GB user (switch the display view from standard to zoom and back again it fixes all the lost effect) and after it
watch this guy expalins how that glitch happened

Mar 12, 2016 7:24 AM in response to rojsl99amgby PinkCas,Not really solved, considering that's not the problem we're facing. We WANT the animations but they disappear randomly, and the video is teaching us how to disable them. According to the guy in the video, the only fix for this bug is to reboot the phone, which is the obvious solution but we don't want to have to go through the hassle of rebooting our phones every single time it happens.
I hope Apple manages to fix this bug in the next update though. It doesn't really affect my usage of the phone but it's annoying AF.
