Q: isos 9 has somehow linked 2 different phones how do I undo this

I downloaded the issues 9 on my iPhone and so did my husband but somehow the 2 phones are now on the same number so when i text my husband it gets sent to my own phone also is someone calls my number my husbands phone receives the same call what do I need to do to correct this?

iPhone 5s, iOS 9

    You are sharing an Apple ID. You should each have your own ID and set up Family Sharing.

    Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

     

    In the meantime go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at. On your phone, uncheck his phone number. On his phone, make sure that your phone number is unchecked.

     

    Also, on both phones make sure this is off. Settings>Phone>Calls on Other Devices>Off.
