Could it be that I have 2 Notes account under 1 apple ID?
I have been struggling to find a fix to Notes not syncing properly. Here is what happens: the iOS device and iCloud Notes are in perfect sync, but the Notes app on OS X Mavericks is not. Whatever I write on iOS and iCloud, will not appear on OS X; and whatever I write on OS X, will not appear on iOS and iCloud. Then I also noticed that when I bring up iCloud in the browser and click on Notes, the URL shows https://www.icloud.com/#notes2 and I wonder if this has to do with the issue. Is it possible that a second Notes account was created on iCloud?
I have disabled notes in the iCloud account both in OS X and in iOS, was warned that this will delete my notes, went ahead and the notes did disappear, restarted the device, enabled notes in the iCloud again and the notes were recovered just as they were previously: one set of notes on iOS and iCloud, another set of notes on OS X.
I even signed off and signed back on with apple ID... still the same thing.
If the case is indeed that I have two Notes accounts, I would like to know how to merge or at least disable/delete one of them.
