after updating to iOS 9 the podcast sleep timer allows the following podcasts to keep on playing after the current episode ends. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Yes, I have this problem on my iPad 2.
but not every time - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Very annoying
I have this issue on my iPhone 5, inconsistent in that it is not overtime i use the sleep timer but happening often enough to be annoying!
While fixing it can we have a further tweak so that, if choosing the 'when current podcasts ends' it doesn't open the next podcast and make it as partially played as that has bugged me for a while!
I have this problem too. More than annoying. Huge because I'm awakened by the playback.
Same issue on my iPad Air 2 under 9.0.2, Podcasts version 2.3 (1075.7).
The UI change wants us to fall in line with Apple Music, I guess. Annoying.
The elimination of On The Go serves no apparent purpose. Mystifying.
But borking the Sleep Timer? Infuriating.
Fix this quick, I beg you.

I'm seeing this as well, though it never seems to work. I wake up in the middle of the night to find it still playing.
