Q: Slide to upgrade - find my iPad conflict

Basically I cannot restore the ipad because find my ipad needs to be turned off on the ipad. which I cannot do because I cannot access the ipad because it needs restoring. which means I am completely caught in a catch 22 unless there is a workaround

Can I turn off 'Find my Ipad' without accessing it from the ipad so I can restore because of the buggy iOS9 upgrade which has left my ipad with a 'slide to update' message

Yes tried all that It is hooked up to the mac and I have backed up all files and then I go to restore....

it wont restore with 'find my ipad' on, I need to turn that off before it will restore...

So how do I turn off 'find my ipad' on the ipad if I cannot access it because the screen is locked with 'slide to upgrade'

tried that too. I can see it in my itunes account as it is connected to the imac but when I go to find my iphone it isn't showing on the map?

think I've got it to go a step further . . . just trying to download an update from apple

no it wasn't showing there either. But I have managed to get it to recognise it in itunes and now it is allowing it to download a fix. 1.83gb.
