iOS 9 won't enable camera/library access via apps?
I recently updated to the iOS 9 feature and had no issues for a few days. Last night I experienced a bug in messages where my text notifications would reappear upon exiting the messages feature, even after they had been read. I turned my phone off and on again like any reasonable person would. Today, all of my contacts have been erased- a fun project I'll be tackling next. I quickly realized my phone had reset itself to a default setting. Any app I have (Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat... to name a few) that requires camera/library access- has completely reset also. I attempted to delete/re-download each app in order to trick the update into thinking app was requesting access to the camera feature for the first time, to no avail. Instagram opens the 'enable' feature within the app itself, but redirects to the old setting (aka Settings > Instagram). iOS 9 enables camera access in Settings > Privacy > Camera. When I attempt to enable access in this way, I am given a frustrating message stating 'Apps that have requested access to the camera will appear here.'
I would love to have some help with this, as having camera/library access within the apps I use is a pretty basic feature I expect to have as an apple user. Thanks!
