Help! Iphone stuck in upgrade loop, no backup, can't connect via iTunes... Am I doomed?

II've tried the suggested force reset holding sleep/wake button - no luck!

I Cannot cconnect to iTunes and force reset because I haven't plugged in and it isn't trusted, it needs me to respond on the phone but in cant because its stuck in the loop!
