Sep 23, 2015 8:48 AM in response to miguelcidby Gawdzilla,I have the exact same problem with my iPad 2. The "slide to upgrade" swipe doesn't respond, and rebooting the iPad just starts the iOS 9 update process over until getting to the "slide to upgrade" swipe... which again doesn't respond.
I never used my iPad with iTunes, so that option (if it even works) is not available to me.
Frankly, it's shocking that Apple hasn't rushed to fix this. I can't even open a support ticket without shelling out $29.

Sep 23, 2015 9:57 AM in response to miguelcidby jaysaires,Couldnt have happened at a worse time for me as Im due to go away. The message at the bottom of the above suggestion that there will be a new update soon is quite frankly unaccepatable

Sep 23, 2015 10:48 AM in response to jaysairesby Gawdzilla,Exactly.. and how is an iPad that can't connect to iTunes, and isn't on a network, supposed to get new updates??
My iPad 2 worked perfectly, until iOS 9 turned it into a paperweight.
It's my WORK iPad, by the way.

Sep 23, 2015 11:54 AM in response to Gawdzillaby jaysaires, ive got mine fixed. I gave up trying to do it myself & rang Apple support. Gave them access to the PC & he talked me through screens to click.mhe stayed on the line till I got on. Thankfully haven't lost any data either. Just annoyedntgatbit happened in first place as now have wasted 4 hours which I needed to pack to go away.
Apparently they have now done another update which has fixed the problem.

Sep 24, 2015 1:45 PM in response to jaysairesby Gawdzilla,Glad it worked out for you, jaysaires. Still no reply from Apple here, and no idea how to fix my iPad without a network connection. Maybe it can be reset at an Apple Store. I don't want to spend 29 bucks online to be told "go to the store" so I'm holding out for answer...
Hopefully soon... but nothing yet.
