Why is the Calendar Widget only showing one of my calendars?

Why is the Calendar Widget only showing one of my calendars?

I am using a 16gb iPhone 5S, with iOS 9.

I have double checked that I can see the calendars in the Calendar app, and they have events. In iOS 8.4.1, I was able to see multiple calendars in my Calendar widget, but now it seems I can only see what I believe is my default calendar.

I had a similar issue with the widget showing only one event. Obviously a bug (Apple are you listening?). Here's the workaround:

Open Calendar.
Tap the list-view icon in the top menu to turn it off.
Slide down Notification Center and observe the widget now shows the full calendar view with multiple events.
Go back to Calendar (dismiss Notification Center) and toggle list-view back on.
Observe the widget now shows multiple events.
