Q: How do I change from Yosemite to Mavericks

A recent update to the current operating system OS X Yosemite caused issues with Pro Tools software on my MAC. Is there a possibility of reversing the update? My 2010 version of Pro Tools will only work with Maverick.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Go to the Purchases section of the Mac App Store and download the Maverick's installer. Note it is only available if your previously downloaded it.

The make a booted USB installer using

    DiskMaker X

Then boot from that installer and format the startup disk and install Mavericks
