However, I can't find Maps. I do have wireless access in my car and have an external GPS that I tie to the iPod but, does Maps even load during iPod installation? Thanks, Scott more

Sep 22, 2015 12:55 PM in response to sarnottby lllaass,Have you tried using the Search feature to try to find it?
I comes with the iOS9 and can't be deleted or hidden
If not present then:
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Sep 22, 2015 1:14 PM in response to sarnottby Rysz,Mmaps is a built-in app and cannot be deleted, so it's still somewhere on your device. Perhaps in a folder? You can also perform a Spotlight search for it.
Ii is also possible that someone put restrictions on the app. Check Settings > General > Restrictions. Doing that would hide Maps.
