Games that work on Macbook Pro C2D

I've just purchased a macbook pro 17 inch full spec and i've always wanted a couple of games to mess around on while travelling. With everything having to be Universal these days can anyone suggest any games or sites that i can purchase games from that will be Universal???? I really like Command and Conquer Generals but can't find a Universal option. Is just worth installing Vista (when it arrives) and using it to just play games??? I can't stand Windows so I would prefer no to! thanks

First off, install XP, Vista is a scary, scary beast.

Second, if you want to play a lot of games, yes you will need to install windows.

There are some games that are available for Mac but for the most parts its a drop in the bucket compared to the windows library. The most common game is World Of Warcraft. If you're looking for a full library look no further than the software section of the Apple Store, which lists most of the modern games available for mac.

Most manufacturers either make a windows or mac version such as command and conquer. Dual/universal support on multiple platforms is rare and should be thought of as the exception not the rule.

Its from a rumor site but appears to have existing information about this topic.

"This is a collection of Universal Binary Games for Mac OS X. Universal Binaries include both PowerPC and Intel code for the best performance on each platform. Games that are not Universal may still run on an Intel Mac, but will run slower."
